2005 Boys and Girls Teams

Registration status as of March 31, 2005. Please read the club roster policy for active and alternate players noted below, as well as the instructions for registration.

Roster policy:
League rules allow up to 22 players to be on a team's overall roster; however, only 18 may be rostered for any one game. The Corning United Board of Directors has decided that, in cases where a team has between 19 and 22 players, the first 18 registered (based on date registration and payment of club fees were received) will be considered Active Rostered players. The remaining players will be rostered as Alternates and will be placed on the game roster if one of the Active Rostered players is not able to play. Alternate players are an integral part of the team and are expected to practice with the team at all regularly scheduled practices. It is important to note that the 18-player roster is set before the game. A roster may not be changed during a game for any reason.

Wherever possible, the club will try to move players to other teams to avoid rostering more than 18 players on any one team. If a team has more than 18 players rostered, what are the chances alternates will get opportunities to play? On the U19 teams, we think the chances are good. In the past, these teams often have not been able to have their full team at every game. Having alternates may help make sure that the team goes into each game with a full game roster of 18 players. Questions concerning roster sizes should be addressed by e-mail to Tom Beiswenger, club secretary and registrar.

If there are still openings on a team, you can fill out a registration form, print it and send it to the Club registrar, Tom Beiswenger, to join one of these teams. The mailing address is:
